Health Prevention in the Transport Sector: Astr’in’s Commitment

In the transport and logistics sector, health prevention in the workplace is a key issue.

Driving, irregular working hours, manual handling, sedentary work, fatigue and stress can all affect employees’ health and well-being.

At Astr’in, we believe that prevention should be an integral part of our HR approach. That is why, for several years, we have been offering our employees practical initiatives to support their health, with the help of the Transportez-Vous Bien, led by Carcept Prev.

o mark the programme’s 10th anniversary, a new brochure highlights the initiatives carried out, the results achieved and the experiences shared by employees and companies. Astr’in has contributed to this publication.

It is an opportunity to look back at an approach that places the health of our teams at the heart of our priorities.

Health prevention in the transport sector: a practical challenge

Transport jobs are diverse, and each profession comes with its own specific challenges.

Drivers may be exposed to fatigue, irregular working hours and musculoskeletal disorders. Mechanics, meanwhile, may face greater physical demands, while administrative and freight forwarding roles can be particularly affected by sedentary work and stress.

Workplace health prevention makes it possible to act early, before certain difficulties become long-term issues.

This is precisely the purpose of Transportez-Vous Bien: to provide solutions designed for transport professionals and adapted to the realities of their jobs.

The programme covers several key areas, including:

  • sleep and fatigue;
  • nutrition;
  • stress and mental well-being;
  • pain and chronic diseases;
  • cardiovascular health;
  • addictions.

Employees can benefit from awareness sessions, workshops and screening programmes, as well as prevention assessments and personalised coaching.

Prevention as close as possible to employees

In the transport sector, making health initiatives accessible to employees can be a real challenge. Working hours can vary, teams may be spread across several sites, and operational constraints are often significant.

That is why health prevention must also be adapted to this reality.

With Transportez-Vous Bien, initiatives can be organised directly in the workplace, making them easier for employees to access.

Workshops, training sessions, health screenings and interventions led by healthcare professionals offer a wide range of formats. This allows employees to take part according to their needs and availability.

The programme also provides remote support, including individual coaching.

Since 2025, Car Prev’ has strengthened this approach by making it possible to carry out several types of screening directly within companies. These include cardiovascular health, visual and hearing health, and musculoskeletal disorders.

In this way, health prevention comes directly to employees, rather than requiring them to adapt their schedules to access support.

At Astr’in, a long-term commitment

At Astr’in, we began organising Transportez-Vous Bien initiatives in 2021.

Since then, these sessions have been renewed every year to raise awareness among our teams and give employees access to prevention initiatives directly at their workplace.

From the very first session, employee participation confirmed the value of this approach.

« The format is really ideal: the prevention initiatives take place directly at our sites, during short sessions that allow many employees to take part. We also see that these moments create connections and encourage exchanges between colleagues. That is another aspect we really appreciate about the Transportez-Vous Bien initiatives»

For Astr’in, health prevention is therefore about more than simply sharing information.

It also creates opportunities for dialogue, encourages healthy habits and gives everyone the tools they need to take action for their own health.

Prevention initiatives that make a difference

After ten years, the results achieved by the Transportez-Vous Bien programme demonstrate the value of a long-term approach to health prevention.

Since its creation, the programme has supported more than 100,000 transport employees. It has also delivered more than 25,000 health prevention assessments and 20,000 coaching sessions.

In 2025 alone, more than 28,000 transport employees received support.

The impact reported by participants is particularly encouraging. 73% of employees who received coaching reported an improvement in their quality of life, while 85% said they had changed some of their lifestyle habits following their support.

These figures highlight a simple reality: when health prevention is accessible, practical and adapted to the specific needs of transport professionals, it can have a real impact on employees’ daily lives.

Thank you to our employees!

A health prevention programme can only be successful with the involvement of employees.

As part of the brochure celebrating ten years of Transportez-Vous Bien, several Astr’in employees agreed to take part and be photographed.

Drivers, mechanics, freight forwarders and support teams: thank you to everyone who took part!

Thank you for your time, enthusiasm and commitment.

Thanks to you, this brochure highlights the diversity of our professions and, above all, the people who make them happen every day.

Your participation is also a great reflection of the Astr’in spirit: health prevention is a collective responsibility that concerns every member of our teams.

A commitment that contributes to employee well-being

More broadly, workplace health is an important issue for our company.

It contributes to employees’ quality of life, but also to the company’s ability to attract and retain its teams.

That is why we want to continue developing practical initiatives focused on health prevention and well-being at work.

Through programmes such as Transportez-Vous Bien, our employees can easily access advice, health screenings and support adapted to the realities of their professions.

Taking preventive action today also means supporting our teams more effectively tomorrow.
